Dr. Nzeribe is an Environmental Engineer with GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI), in Austin, Texas. She recently earned her Ph.D. and M.S in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York. She also has an M.S in Environmental Management from Coventry University, United Kingdom and a B.S in Biochemistry from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her academic research focused on in situ and ex-situ groundwater remediation technologies, including the development of treatment methods for the removal of Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in contaminated groundwater and pilot-scale testing of a novel groundwater remediation technology that led to full-scale implementation. Dr. Nzeribe is a co-author of a chapter in the book “Perfluoroalkyl Substances in the Environment: Theory, Practice, and Innovation” and is a contributor to the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council (ITRC) PFAS fact sheets. She also has experience in environmental compliance and wastewater treatment and joined GSI Environmental in June 2019.
