Whitney Godwin is an Environmental Engineer with GSI Environmental Inc. She received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering with a focus in Coastal Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.). Since joining GSI in 2018, she has performed site investigations to evaluate soil and groundwater contamination at industrial facilities. She has also implemented soil and groundwater remediation programs and has conducted performance monitoring. In addition, Ms. Godwin has monitored for and investigated stray gas (methane) in oil and gas operations as well as residential settings. She is also involved in regulatory compliance, permitting, and litigation support projects for various clients in the public sector, oil and gas, and chemical industries. Prior to joining GSI, Ms. Godwin worked in the oil and gas industry, conducting field projects and providing technical support in the operation, installation, and performance testing of several types of oilfield equipment utilized for drilled cuttings separation and oilfield waste management.
