Mr. Torres is a Senior Engineer with GSI Environmental Inc. with over 10 years of consulting experience in site investigation and remediation-related projects. He has provided project management and field oversight of soil, soil vapor, residential and commercial indoor air, and groundwater investigation and remediation projects including sampling events, excavations, groundwater injections, SVE system and piping design, installation, and operation, and well design and installations using direct push, cone penetration testing, hollow-stem auger, sonic, horizontal, and mud-rotary techniques. He has provided technical support for vapor intrusion mitigation, treatment systems for perchlorate, VOC, and PFAS-impacted groundwater, and for industrial wastewater. He has developed vapor intrusion assessment reports, Phase II reports, groundwater and soil vapor monitoring reports, remedial action plans and completion reports, removal action work plans, proposals, work plans, SVE operation and maintenance plans, and detailed site investigation and remediation budgets. He has also performed data analysis and validation, hazardous waste characterization, screening level human health risk assessments, and application of vapor intrusion guidance and Federal and California Human Health Screening Levels.
