With more than 27 years of experience in environmental consulting, Rajiv Patel, PE, MBA, is a seasoned engineering leader known for guiding complex air quality, permitting, and environmental compliance programs across aerospace, defense, manufacturing, energy, and waste sectors. His career spans hands-on technical execution, large-scale program management, and strategic operational leadership.
Rajiv’s expertise covers the full spectrum of environmental requirements, including NSR/PSD and Title V permitting, greenhouse gas reporting, stormwater and wastewater compliance, hazardous waste management, SPCC planning, TRI and Tier II reporting, and ESG initiatives. He has led multidisciplinary teams, overseen multimillion-dollar operations, and directed environmental programs for high-profile, technically demanding clients.
As a principal engineer and consultant, he has built and managed a successful practice supporting more than a dozen facilities nationwide, serving as an on-call environmental expert, representing clients before regulators, and delivering end-to-end compliance solutions. Earlier in his career, Rajiv managed large environmental teams—up to 50 staff—while driving department-level strategy, business development, and air quality practice leadership across multiple regions.
