Evan Rome graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. Through UCLA's senior capstone project, he conducted a biodiversity baseline assessment of the UCLA campus, applying 15 ecological metrics to evaluate biodiversity using GIS mapping, field observations, and environmental datasets. The project included data collection, data analysis, report preparation, proposal development, and presentations to project stakeholders. Prior to joining GSI Environmental, he completed environmental internships focused on marine biodiversity assessments, water quality monitoring, perimeter air quality sampling, and environmental data analysis.
