Albert Lu is an Environmental Engineer and accredited Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verifier with extensive expertise in sustainability consulting, including over 10 years of experience specializing in GHG inventory development, verification and assurance, decarbonization strategies, environmental compliance, and advanced data modeling. Albert has successfully led sustainability initiatives across diverse sectors, including technology, entertainment, media, finance, energy, manufacturing, real estate, insurance, marketing, and utilities. He is proficient in applying emission calculation methodologies aligned with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-3 standards for verification.
Before entering the consulting field, Albert served as an Environmental Scientist with the State of California, where he focused on California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, state and federal environmental permitting, management of flood control and drought relief programs, and air quality modeling of GHGs and criteria pollutants.
Albert holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC).
