Mr. Anthony Daus is a Principal Hydrogeologist with GSI Environmental Inc. with more than 37 years of experience on environmental and water resources projects. He has provided environmental consulting expertise on sediment, soil and groundwater investigation and cleanup matters across North America and internationally. While working on these projects, Mr. Daus successfully worked with environmental regulators at the local, state and national level.
He has lead environmental due diligence projects across the world for a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, chemical, mines and diversified manufacturing. For many years, Mr. Daus has performed forensic analysis of environmental data to assess spatial and temporal sources of contamination. He has served as a testifying and non‐testifying expert on environmental litigation matters related to compliance with the National Contingency Plan, allocation of past and future costs, fate and transport of chemicals in soil and groundwater, and source identification.
Mr. Daus has provided water resources consulting expertise on a variety of projects across North America and internationally. These projects have included analysis of over‐pumping, groundwater recharge, salt water intrusion and development on water resources and often included the use of groundwater models and other forecasting tools. Mr. Daus has served as a testifying and nontestifying expert regarding groundwater overdraft/safe yield, water banking, water quality, and surface water/groundwater interactions.
