She received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the Technical University Munich, Germany. She wrote her Master’s thesis on Hydraulic Tomography during her exchange semester at University of California Berkeley, gaining experience in groundwater modeling and inverse modeling. Besides her theoretical knowledge in geotechnical engineering, hydromechanics, risk analysis and programming, she has over 3 years of practical experience as a student worker in several geotechnical engineering companies, where she assisted in design of tunnel segmental lining, soil sampling, writing of geotechnical reports and soil remediation.
