Dr. Smith is an Environmental Engineer with GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI) in Houston, Texas. He earned B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2011 and 2018. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (No. 146246) in the state of Texas. His Ph.D. research focused on identifying areas where aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) is feasible and maximizing recovery efficiency of an ASR system by evaluating future operating scenarios using a groundwater flow and transport model. Dr. Smith has 4 years of project experience in multiple areas including groundwater remediation, regulatory compliance reporting, litigation support, research projects, and management and execution of a variety of field programs.
