Carmen Kettrick graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. While in college, she gained experience in the stormwater field by working in a research lab and taking related classes. Through UCLA’s Environmental Science capstone, she worked with the State Water Board to help write upcoming guidelines for stormwater capture and reuse for irrigation and potable water infiltration. Her group also authored California Assembly Bill AB 638, which is connected to the project.
