Christ Niamike is an Environmental Engineer with GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI). He received both his BS in Petroleum Engineering and MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Houston. His MS research involved modeling the desalination of produced water from Eagle Ford and Barnett shale formations using a system of bilateral countercurrent and reverse osmosis membranes through Excel and MATLAB coding. His professional experiences include projects related to soil and groundwater contamination for various industries including petrochemical facilities and coal power plants. He has worked in multiple project areas including research projects, regulatory compliance and permitting, environmental litigation support, and execution of a variety of field programs.
