Ms. Kingham is a Senior Associate Hydrogeologist with GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI), the company wide GSI Health and Safety Administrator, and a registered Professional Geoscientist (PG) in Texas, Louisiana, and New York. Ms. Kingham is an appointed Board Member of the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists, the licensing authority of the State of Texas, a Board Member of the Council of Examiners and a Board Member of the Geology and Geophysics Department Advisory Committee (GEODAC) at Texas A&M University. She received an M.S. degree in Hydrogeology from The University of Texas and B.S. degree in Geology from Texas A&M University. She has over 18 years of professional experience in the environmental field, which includes site investigation and risk assessment at domestic and international sites, including chemical manufacturing plants, dry cleaning and oil and gas facilities, residential properties, and military bases.
Ms. Kingham’s expertise involves issues related to carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) projects, including application of federal and state guidelines and incentive protocols to the development of Class VI injection well permit applications, including hydrogeologic and geologic assessments, Underground testing and monitoring programs, and environmental justice. Ms. Kingham also specializes in the application of federal and state guidelines and incentive protocols to the development of practical, cost-effective, and defensible environmental monitoring and verification programs for CCS projects. Ms. Kingham’s expertise also includes forensic analysis of field and laboratory data to determine the origin of chemical contaminants and associated environmental impacts. Her cost allocation experience includes determinations for individual potentially responsible parties at chemical manufacturing plants, oil and gas facilities, and former waste management facilities in Texas, California, New Jersey, Illinois, New York, and North Carolina.
Ms. Kingham has served as a Consulting Expert on a coastal land loss litigation project in Louisiana. She has provided leading technical support to expert witnesses and attorneys on numerous environmental litigation projects regarding environmental impacts related to oil and gas operations, emerging contaminants, chemical and manufacturing facilities, landfills, pipelines, waste management facilities, and air emissions throughout the US and in Mexico, Ecuador, Australia, Bahrain, Yemen, and Kazakhstan. She has attended and provided leading technical support during domestic and international arbitrations in Texas, Washington DC, Paris, France, and The Hague, Netherlands.
She has overseen the design and installation of monitoring well networks, vapor intrusion investigations, environmental and geotechnical soil, sediment and surface water sampling programs, groundwater and outdoor air sampling programs, and implementation of enhanced in-situ biodegradation treatment programs worldwide. Ms. Kingham has conducted an independent audit of a Facility Operations Area permit at a chemical manufacturing plant, and an environmental compliance audit and inspection of a heavy construction equipment rental facility in Texas.
Site investigation sites in the US have been conducted under various state and federal regulatory programs, including the TRRP Rule, RRC Cleanup Rules, VCP Programs, CERCLA, and RCRA. She has also assisted with the development and teaching of GSI’s TRRP training course to state regulators, environmental consultants, and clients. She has participated in several ESTCP and SERDP research projects throughout the US.
