Seth Latta is an Environmental Scientist in the GSI Atlanta, Georgia office with over two years of experience in groundwater and environmental investigations. His primary expertise includes characterization and remediation of impacted groundwater, soil, and soil gas for industrial and commercial clients. He also has experience conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and GIS-based modeling and analysis.
Seth’s environmental science experience includes the optimization, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems utilizing a wide range of treatment technologies. Prior to joining GSI, he supported chlorinated solvent, petroleum, and heavy metal remediation projects at sites across the United States. This work involved collaboration with numerous environmental consulting firms and navigating complex site conditions and security requirements, strengthening his ability to work effectively with both clients and regulators.
With a strong academic and professional background in geoscience and environmental science, Seth brings practical, solutions-oriented problem-solving skills to projects involving soil and groundwater investigation, GIS mapping, technical report preparation, and in-situ remediation. He has routinely supported the preparation of work plans, remedial investigations and feasibility studies, pilot testing, system installation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems, groundwater and soil sampling programs, site closures, and Phase I/II ESA projects.
