Ivy is currently a master’s Student in the geology program at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, investigating the water quality of the Santa Ana River. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Earth Science, and a minor in Geography in 2020. During her time at CSU, Dominguez Hills, she used GIS and remote sensing to investigate the pattern of vegetation recovery after the 2017 Thomas Fire and presented research at the Annual meeting of Pacific Coast Geography (APCG) in 2019.
