Mr. Jeffrey Raumin, P.E. – Mr. Raumin has 28 years of environmental consulting experience and is a state of California Licensed Professional Engineer (Chemical Engineering). He has been primarily involved in site investigation and remediation projects. Projects have included development of remedial designs to treat soil, soil vapor, and/or groundwater impacted with compounds such as petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and metals. Remedial technologies utilized as part of these evaluations include pump and treat of groundwater using UV/oxidation and activated carbon, multi-phase extraction to remove impacted groundwater and light non-aqueous phase liquids (LNAPL), in situ chemical reduction, oxidation, and bioremediation, soil vapor extraction to treat volatile organic compounds, and soil excavation. In support of these projects, Mr. Raumin has developed engineering cost estimates ranging from order of magnitude cost estimates based on the preliminary site conceptual models to detailed engineering cost estimates for large-scale remedial design implementation.
