Dr. Nicole Czwakiel is an Environmental Geologist with GSI Environmental Inc. in Houston, Texas. She holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Geosciences from Hamilton College. Dr. Czwakiel specializes in environmental site investigation, field data collection, and environmental data analysis. During her graduate research, she investigated stable oxygen and carbon isotopes across Spain as a climate proxy for evaluating regional changes in rainfall during the Late Pliocene – Early Pleistocene. Dr. Czwakiel has more than five years of hands-on field experience, including soil and sediment sampling, geophysical data collection, and stable isotope geochemistry.
