

Rachel Parthasarthy is an Environmental Scientist in Missoula, Montana. She received her BS in Chemistry and Geology from the College of William & Mary in 2022, and she recently finished her MS in Geological Sciences at the University of Connecticut. She has three years of undergraduate research experience studying heavy metal contamination and two years of graduate research experience conducting low-temperature geochemistry and sedimentology studies. Rachel has extensive experience with soil and water sampling, GIS work, and instrumental analysis. Since joining GSI in 2024, she plans to utilize her skill set to support GSI’s geochemistry team with site characterization, geochemical modeling, data validation, and site remediation projects.
