Mr. Wood is a Principal Hydrogeologist with GSI Environmental Inc. and has more than 28 years of experience as a technical consultant. Mr. Wood has applied his expertise in geology and hydrogeology to municipal water supply well siting, well design, installation, and testing oversight, environmental site assessment, remedial investigation, risk-based corrective action and site closure strategy development, property redevelopment, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. He has provided his expertise to the legal community, industry, and the public sector. Mr. Wood has provided litigation support and expert testimony for commercial, industrial, and public clients with facilities and properties impacted with chlorinated solvents, fuel compounds, metals, polychlorinated biphenyls, perchlorate, and other constituents, including opining on the standard of care for monitoring well installation. He also has provided consultation on Potentially Responsible Party identification and cost allocation. In addition, Mr. Wood has provided consultation to the California licensing board for geologists on enforcement matters and evaluation of the Certified Hydrogeologist exam.
