Dr. Rhodes is a Principal Scientist with GSI Environmental Inc. Prior to joining GSI, during her 36-year career with Shell Oil, she was the company’s subject matter expert for environmental chemistry, analysis and forensics. Her areas of expertise include development of sampling and analytical protocols for identification of environmentally significant compounds in soil, sediment, and water; characterization and fingerprinting of petroleum and petroleum products; assessment of hazardous air pollutants in process streams; and characterization of gas and produced water related to hydraulic fracturing activities. She has also conducted laboratory audits in the U.S., Europe, South America, Australia and Africa, and has provided regulatory consulting and litigation support services.
